Talia Clay started writing in and hoarding journals when she was nine years old. She spent her teen and young adult years in a predominantly white environment, angsty, misunderstood, and desperately trying to assimilate. Events in her personal life (and the biggest news stories of the early 2010s) led to an awakening and the creation of her first novel, White Minority.
Like many millennials, she’s held a series of entry-level jobs that haven’t put her master’s degree to good use. Her ultimate goal in life is to not have to work, but now does every job known to humankind as a stay-at-home mom. If she’s not writing, working, or spending time with her family, she’s baking sourdough pizza, watching Netflix, reading, or studying a foreign language.
