Onaji Rouse is an African American writer, actor, and creator hailing from Raleigh, NC. Who has always wanted to create worlds and stories to increase representation in comics, TV and film. His heroes include Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Issa Rae, and many others from TV/film and literature. This led him to create his own independent publishing and media company, Obsolete Studios, LLC. While spending several years taking opportunities to sharpen his craft. To writing screenplays, contributing to an online web series and eventually producing his very own sci-fi action-drama TV series titled DRAFTED: Origins, which is a live adaptation spin-off of his comic book ODINA. Regarding him publishing his very own independent comic books, ODINA, and KANDAKE, in partnership with Konkret Comics, he was nominated for two Glyph Awards for Best Writer and Rising Star in 2021 and recently won the category for Best Female Character in 2023.
